Olivier Giroud Craze, Arsenal Win 6-1

Striker Olivier Giroud scored one goal and one assist that will determine Arsenal's 6-1 win over Coventry City in the League Cup third round match, at the Emirates on Wednesday (26/09/2012). It was the first goal for Arsenal since purchased Giroud of Montpellier, July 1, 2012.

Giroud broke the visitors' goal in the 39th minute. Goals stems from the movement of Francis Coquelin in the right sector Coventry defense that led the bait into the middle of the penalty box. With his left foot, Giroud fired the ball into the bottom left corner of goalkeeper Joe Murphy.


Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain change the numbers on the scoreboard to 2-0 in the 57th minute. This goal again is a fruit of the attack from the right sector Coventry defense. Oxlade Chamberlain conquer Martinez with a right-footed shot, which makes the ball submissions Andrei Arshavin Murphy bolted to the middle of the goal.


Five minutes later, Arshavin's turn in the list of scorers. From the middle of the penalty box, he melesatkan Giroud shipment ball into the bottom left corner of goalkeeper Murphy, with a right-foot shot.


Arsenal's Theo Walcott took a 4-0 lead in the 74th minute. Utilizing feedback Nicholas Yennaris, Walcott conquer Murphy with a kick right-footed from center of penalty box.


Coventry cut the distance to 1-4 through Callum Ball in the 78th minute. Having mastered the bait Carl Baker, Ball sent the ball into the bottom right corner of goalkeeper Damian Martinez, with a left-footed shot from the middle of the penalty box.


A minute later, Arsenal restored their four-goal, thanks to Ignasi Miguel. In his head, he turned a cross into the bottom right corner Yennaris goal for the visitors.


Ahead of injury time, Arsenal get a sixth goal from Walcott. After passing an opposing player, Walcott sent a ball into the bottom left corner of the net with a right foot.
