Crazy! It's the 'third party', Peugeot and BMW End Relationship 

French automotive group PSA Peugeot Citroen broke up with BMW. Both large group that had been working together to develop hybrid technology, but PSA Peugeot Citroen has now turned away to General Motors.

PSA Peugeot Citroen announced the cessation of their relationship with BMW in terms of research and development of hybrid technology. PSA Peugeot Citroen is the second largest automotive company in Europe will continue their research with GM.


Together with BMW, PSA Peugeot Citroen failed build cars together or building a factory together.


That's according to Automotive News says Peugeot's head of R & D Guillaume Faury and confirmed by Laure de Servigny.


BMW reported that, after finding out that Peugeot will cooperate with GM in July and then immediately begin talks to end the partnership.


In fact, Peugeot in March said it expects its partnership with GM will affect partnerships with other automakers.


However, BMW will retain the BMW Peugeot Citroen Electrification partnership as he thought of how the joint venture will be formed in the future.


The GM should buy a seven percent stake in Peugeot as part of the deal. Both also can produce hybrid models together.


When the PSA turned to GM, BMW also in June also made long-term commitments with Toyota to collaborate on the development of hydrogen cars, lightweight materials and electric powertrain.
